“Power of Wrapping” emerged from a deep awareness of the unrest that threads through our modern lives—both personal and collective. In a world steeped in tension, I found unexpected comfort in the quiet, rhythmic act of wrapping. I began to wonder - could the calming, restorative effect I experienced through the simple act of wrapping be genuine, and if so, might it also resonate with others?
In a variety of settings, participants are invited to write words of healing—tailored to whatever challenge is most present for them—on a small strip of paper or fabric, chosen to suit the object being wrapped. As they wind the material around the form, they reflect on the meaning of their words.
My social practice centers on creating spaces where people can connect through the shared act of wrapping as a pathway to emotional healing.
